Awagami washi support to Ukraine

Awagami washi was sent to Ukraine to help repair historical documents at the very important Central State Historical Archives in Lviv. Ukraine was struggling to obtain such paper which hampered repair work at the Archives. Awagami papermakers offered support, hoping the paper (with its centuries of tradition) could help preserve Ukrainian culture and regional history. The program depicts the warm bonds that developed between Awagami and the Ukrainian archivists through a mutual appreciation of the paper.
