L’artista argentino Aaron Nachtailer è stato invitato a partecipare a OPEN ART, la Biennale di Arte più grande dell’Europa del Nord (Scandinavia), che si tiene dal 15 giugno all’8 settembre a Örebro, Svezia.
L’arte contemporanea di tutto il mondo è esposta temporaneamente negli spazi urbani, trasformando il centro della città in una gigantesca esposizione.
L’artista presenta due grandi installazioni, “EXIT/wall” e “EXIT/clouds”, sviluppate site-specific per il parco della città.
Le opere di Aaron mirano a trasmettere un messaggio “verde-culturale” e propongono un invito a trovare un equilibrio con se stessi e con la natura che ci circonda.
C’è un desiderio di fuggire dalla realtà ed esplorare le nostre origini e la relazione con la natura. “Exit” diventa una parte importante di questa ricerca per la comunità e vuole essere un messaggio di fiducia nel futuro.
Le uscite suggerite nelle installazioni sono una sfida contemplativa. Le opere di grande scala hanno un forte impatto estetico e onirico. Le nuvole, per la loro natura sempre mutevoli e in perpetuo movimento, sono viste come una metafora della vita e del mondo. Non hanno confini; tutti condividiamo lo stesso cielo. Il progetto ha il potenziale di creare una connessione che trascende i confini geografici.
Riscoprire una relazione diretta con l’opera d’arte diventa cruciale per connettersi con se stessi e con il mondo che ci circonda. Le opere invitano ad un dibattito costruttivo, contribuendo alla crescita della società e permettendo di riflettere sul concetto di “verde”, in modo che diventi una parte integrante della cultura.
L’artista sarà presente a Buenos Aires il prossimo settembre, con il progetto “Nomad”, una serie di installazioni immersive site-specific in luoghi iconici e musei (tra cui il Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes, il Museo Larreta, il Centro Cultural Recoleta).
Aaron lavora con la materia naturale “l’albero”, dove l’esperienza fisica e materiale delle opere è il filo conduttore. Come in una foresta, dove ogni albero o pianta comunica con gli altri e fa parte dello stesso ecosistema, allo stesso modo, la città si connette attraverso l’esperienza artistica, creando un ecosistema culturale.

OPEN ART, la Biennale d’Arte più grande del nord Europa (Scandinavia), celebra quest’anno la nona edizione, alla quale partecipano circa 40 artisti che rappresentano 20 nazionalità diverse. Il progetto inizia nel 2008 con l’idea di esporre arte contemporanea in luoghi pubblici, disponibile per tutti, un concetto completamente nuovo in città, che vedrebbe alcune delle opere più emozionanti del mondo esposte al di fuori delle norme tradizionali dell’arte.
Le opere sono esposte all’aperto e all’interno della città, i luoghi variano da spazi aperti nel centro della città (parchi, strade, piazze, edifici, fiumi) a gallerie d’arte e musei. Viene posto un grande enfasi sulle opere di grande scala, che sfidano la percezione fisica dell’ambiente circostante.
Sin dall’inizio, grandi nomi hanno fatto parte della selezione, tra cui il più famoso artista dissidente cinese del mondo, Ai Wei Wei, il camerunense Pascale Marthine Tayou, la giapponese Chiharu Shiota, la tedesca Cornelia Konrads, tra gli altri.
Aaron Nachtailer. Artista
Aaron Nachtailer è un artista argentino nato in Patagonia nel 1986.
La sua carriera inizia come stilista e textile designer, all’Università di Palermo, città di Buenos Aires e cresce con il lavoro quotidiano nell’atelier del designer Mariano Toledo. Le esperienze materiche nel campo della pellicceria, in particolare, lo portano a presentare le sue realizzazioni in varie competizioni e apparizioni a New York, Milano, Berlino, Mosca. Nel 2015 viene supportato da Vogue Italia come giovane talento, finalista del concorso Remix. Il percorso trasversale tra arte e design lo fa approdare nel 2016 a Venezia. La costante ricerca condotta sulla materia naturale, lo porta a sperimentare nei lavoratori del vetro soffiato a Murano (Italia) e negli anni seguenti a sviluppare varie tecniche artistiche nei lavoratori del marmo a Carrara (Italia) e della lavorazione del legno nel Luberon (Francia).
Le sue opere e installazioni, vengono presentate negli spazi pubblici e nei percorsi istituzionali dell’arte.
In una profonda ricerca di una connessione con se stesso, esplorando idee piuttosto che estetiche convenzionali, fluendo tra sculture e installazioni, il suo lavoro evidenzia immediatamente la ricerca di una nuova spazialità.
Caratterizzata dall’utilizzo di materiali naturali, introduce forme primitive ed elementi distintivi che si trasformano in energia poetica attraverso meccanismi dell’immaginario e la rappresentazione del pensiero e della spiritualità attraverso i sensi.
Essere in relazione con la natura è una condizione peculiare per l’artista. Il suo lavoro mostra l’invisibile nascosto nel visibile e l’opera è avvolta in un’atmosfera enigmatica e oracolare. I suoi alberi tendono ad un’immagine mentale assoluta, alberi pensati non come segni figurativi, ma come strumenti di una pratica rituale.
L’obiettivo è raggiungere l’armonia con la natura, in modo che il mondo segua la sua naturale evoluzione. La natura come centro dell’universo.

The Argentine artist Aaron Nachtailer has been invited to participate in OPEN ART, the largest Art Biennial in Northern Europe (Scandinavia), which will be held from June 15 to September 8 in Örebro, Sweden. Contemporary art from all over the world is temporarily exhibited in urban spaces, transforming the city center into a gigantic exhibition.
The artist presents two large installations, “EXIT/wall” and “EXIT/clouds,” developed site-specific for the city park.
Aaron’s works aim to convey a “green-cultural” message and propose an invitation to find balance with oneself and with the nature that surrounds us.
There is a desire to escape from reality and explore our origins and the relationship with nature. “Exit” becomes an important part of the search for community and faith in the future. The exits suggested in the installations are a contemplative challenge. The large-scale works have a strong aesthetic and dreamlike impact. Clouds, by their ever-changing and perpetual motion nature, are seen as a metaphor for life and the world. They have no borders; we all share the same sky. The project has the potential to create a connection that transcends geographical boundaries.
Rediscovering a direct relationship with the artwork becomes crucial for connecting with oneself and with the world around us. This process gives rise to constructive debate, contributing to societal growth and allowing reflection on the concept of “green,” so that it becomes an integral part of culture.
The artist will be present in Buenos Aires next September with the project “Nomad”, a series of immersive site-specific installations in iconic places and museums (including the National Museum of Fine Arts, the Larreta Museum, the Recoleta Cultural Center). Aaron works with the natural material “the tree,” where the physical and material experience of the works is the common thread. Just as in a forest, where each tree or plant communicates with the others and is part of the same ecosystem, in the same way, the city connects through the artistic experience, creating a cultural ecosystem.

OPEN ART, the largest Art Biennial in Northern Europe (Scandinavia), celebrates its ninth edition this year, with around 40 artists representing 20 different nationalities participating. The project began in 2008 with the idea of exhibiting contemporary art in public places, making it accessible to everyone—a completely new concept in the city that would see some of the world’s most exciting artworks displayed outside the traditional norms of art.
The artworks are exhibited both outdoors and indoors around the city, with locations ranging from open spaces in the city center (parks, streets, squares, buildings, rivers) to art galleries and museums. A great emphasis is placed on large-scale works that challenge the physical perception of the surrounding environment.
From the beginning, major names have been part of the selection, including the world’s most famous Chinese dissident artist Ai Wei Wei, Cameroonian Pascale Marthine Tayou, Japanese Chiharu Shiota, German Cornelia Konrads, among others.
AARON NACHTAILER . Artist
Aaron Nachtailer is an Argentine artist born in Patagonia in 1986.
His career began as a stylist and textile designer at the University of Palermo in Buenos Aires, and flourished through daily work in designer Mariano Toledo’s studio. His material experiences in the field of fur, in particular, led him to showcase his creations in various competitions and appearances in New York, Milan, Berlin, and Moscow. In 2015, he was supported by Vogue Italia as a young talent, a finalist in the Remix contest. His transversal trajectory between art and design led him to Venice in 2016. The constant research on natural materials led him to experiment with glassblowers in Murano (Italy) and in the following years to develop various artistic techniques with marble workers in Carrara (Italy) and wood processing in Luberon (France).
His works and installations are presented in public spaces and institutional art tours.
In a deep search for connection with oneself, exploring ideas rather than conventional aesthetics, flowing between sculptures and installations, his work immediately highlights the pursuit of a new spatiality. Characterized by the use of natural materials, he introduces primitive forms and distinctive elements that transform into poetic energy through mechanisms of imagination and the representation of thought and spirituality through the senses.
Being in relation to nature is a peculiar condition for the artist. His work shows the invisible hidden in the visible, and the work is enveloped in an enigmatic and oracular atmosphere. His trees tend towards an absolute mental image, trees conceived not as figurative signs, but as tools of a ritual practice.
The goal is to achieve harmony with nature, so that the world follows its natural evolution. Nature as the center of the universe.
