Cari amici,
in occasione della XIV Florence Biennale, dall’incontro con FERCAM e Street Levels Gallery è nato un progetto che coniuga arte, sostenibilità e solidarietà.
L’idea di Florence Biennale di trasformare alcune casse, precedentemente utilizzate per il trasporto di opere di importanti istituti museali, in vere e proprie opere d’arte, ha preso forma grazie al coinvolgimento di 5 street artists, in parte selezionati tra gli artisti partecipanti della XIV Florence Biennale (Stefano Alvino e Rinascimento Punk), in parte scelti tra gli artisti della Street Levels Gallery (Ache 77, Exit Enter e Kraita 317), la quale ha offerto anche il supporto tecnico, oltre che organizzativo, all’iniziativa. Gli street artist coinvolti hanno usato le casse donate da FERCAM come supporti per creare nuove opere d’arte, nate sotto gli occhi dei visitatori della XIV Florence Biennale.
Le opere realizzate sono destinate alla vendita e il ricavato sarà devoluto al Progetto Villa Lorenzi: un luogo di ascolto e di aiuto nato nel 1988 a Firenze per offrire un sostegno ai giovani in difficoltà e alle loro famiglie. Con una donazione a Villa Lorenzi di almeno € 1000 potrete acquistare una delle opere realizzate dagli street artist per questo progetto e ritirarla presso l’indirizzo che vi verrà indicato dalla nostra organizzazione. In alternativa, potrete decidere di lasciare quest’opera alla collettività; in questo caso l’opera acquistata sarà collocata in una struttura con accesso gratuito al pubblico.
È possibile anche fare una donazione libera per sostenere le attività di Villa Lorenzi.

on the occasion of the XIV Florence Biennale, thanks to the collaboration with FERCAM and Street Levels Gallery a project combining art, sustainability, and solidarity comes out. Florence Biennale’s idea of transforming some crates, previously used to transport artworks from important museum institutions, into actual artworks, took shape thanks to the involvement of 5 street artists, partly selected from the artists participating in the XIV Florence Biennale (Stefano Alvino and Rinascimento Punk), and partly chosen from the artists of the Street Levels Gallery (Ache 77, Exit Enter and Kraita 317), which also offered technical and organisational support for the initiative. The street artists involved used the boxes donated by FERCAM as supports to create new artworks, created in front of the visitors of the XIV Florence Biennale.
The artworks are available for sale and the proceeds will be donated to the Villa Lorenzi Project: a place of listening and help founded in 1988 in Florence to offer support to young people in difficulty and their families. With a donation to Villa Lorenzi of at least € 1000 you will be able to buy one of the works created by the street artists for this project and pick it up at the address indicated by our organisation. Alternatively, you can decide to leave this work to the community, in which case the purchased work will be placed in a structure with free public access.
